Student and Employee Feedback Report

Learn more about the themes. The Strategic Themes for PCC’s 2025-2028 Strategic Plan reflect the valuable input of over 1,400 faculty, staff, students, and community members who participated in our input sessions. The insights, aspirations, and feedback collected can be found in the Student and Employee Feedback Report [pdf].

The Strategic Themes will guide the prioritization of goals across the college. The community will have the chance to provide feedback on which goals should be included in the final plan through a poll open from November 11 – November 22, 2024.

About the Strategic Plan

Through the implementation of our Strategic Plan, Portland Community College will ensure equitable access, opportunity, affordability, and success for all students. We will balance our commitment to quality learning experiences and economic and workforce development.

We will preserve the authenticity of our reputation and articulate the value of PCC throughout the community, and we will cultivate an environment where the tenets of diversity, equity, and inclusion are intentional, consistent, evident, and effective.

Strategic Plan Overview

The framework of the Portland Community College Strategic Plan was developed by the collective insights and aspirations of our academic community. Over three months, we engaged faculty, staff, and students to gather their perspectives on our institution’s future. Recognizing the value of diverse perspectives, we actively sought input from all stakeholders. During winter term 2024, 769 staff and faculty members and 649 students contributed their insights in a process aimed to address immediate concerns and build a strong foundation for future initiatives

This collaborative effort reflects our commitment to inclusivity and excellence, ensuring our strategic plan is visionary and grounded in the real experiences of those who shape PCC daily.
