Our mission
The Southeast Campus Diversity Council’s mission is to develop and maintain a campus climate that welcomes and promotes respect for the wide variety of human experiences.
The Southeast Diversity Council strives to create a transformed campus, where there is racial, social, and economic justice for all people.
In alignment with the College’s Strategic Plan and commitment to equity and inclusion, Council members will serve as leaders on campus and with the surrounding community to promote our mission.
Dimensions of diversity
The dimensions of diversity include, but are not limited to race, ethnicity, religious belief, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity, gender expression, ability, socioeconomic status, cultural orientation, national origin, immigration status, height/weight ratio, use of native language, and age.
