What is PCC’s residency policy?

Once you have an Oregon address you are considered a resident for the purpose of attending Portland Community College. However, if you plan to transfer to an Oregon public university (4-year school), we recommend that you contact them about residency requirements. Oregon public universities have different rules for residency and your enrollment at a community college can affect their residency requirement. Visit the Residency page for more information.
Resident tuition for PCC applies to American citizens or immigrants with a permanent resident status in Oregon, Idaho, California, Nevada and Washington and specific types of non-immigrant visas.
