When will I receive my diploma?

You will receive your diploma in the mail approximately 6-8 weeks after the term has ended.? If you need proof of your degree before your actual diploma arrives, we suggest that you order official transcripts, which will show your completed degree.

Students at Portland Community College will receive degrees or certificates upon completion of requirements for the student’s recorded program of study. PCC Student Records will send PCC email notification to students close to completion of their declared degree or certificate.

If you have been notified that you will be graduating, it is important that you follow the steps below before we award your degree or certificate.

  1. Log into MyPCC.
  2. From the Home tab, click on My Records in the Quick Links section on the left.
  3. Click on Student.
  4. Click on Student Records.
  5. Click on Submit Diploma Information.
  6. Select the appropriate term.
  7. Select your degree or certificate (enter information for one credential and return to the Submit Diploma Information link for any additional credentials)
  8. Answer questions or confirm information about:
    • Diploma name (this is the name you want printed on your diploma)
    • Diploma address (this is the address to which your diploma will be mailed; this does NOT update your official mailing address on file). If you need to update your official mailing address on file, contact Enrollment Services at 971-722-8888, Option 2. They can update this address for you.
