Who is responsible to set up disability testing accommodations?

Updated October 12, 2022

Students, instructors, and Accessible Ed & Disability Resources each have a role in testing accommodations. Students must request accommodations in a timely manner. Instructors must give students adequate notice of upcoming exams and work with the student to determine where, when, and how tests will be administered. Accessible Ed & Disability Resources offers an optional service that provides a proctored environment and accommodations. If students and instructors use this service, they must accept the guidelines and time deadlines. Accessible Ed & Disability Resources is also available to help determine your testing accommodation needs and help resolve and concerns.
