Will old credits still apply to a PCC degree?

Updated October 14, 2022

Credits in most subjects do not expire. However, most science classes that are required for health related programs such as Nursing, Dental Hygiene or Radiography or pre-medical cannot be more than seven years old. Additionally, some older Career Technical courses might not be applicable.

You may want to consider refresher courses if you have had an extended absence from college. If it has been more than three years since you took a math class, PCC recommends taking the placement test to determine whether or not you need to brush up. If you test into a level that is lower than where you left off, there may be optional developmental courses you can take to get your skills back on track.
