What is the ROOTs program?

TRIO Student Support Services, formerly PCC’s ROOTS Program, is a federally-funded program dedicated to helping students at Portland Community College achieve their educational goals. The goal of the program is to help students who meet one of the following federal guidelines: low income, first generation students or students with disabilities. The program helps students stay in school, transfer to other colleges or universities or graduate from PCC. The program is administered through the Cascade campus.
