Do I need an Associate of Arts or an Associate of Science degree to transfer?
Updated October 12, 2022
No. 4-year colleges and universities do not require you to have an associate’s degree to transfer. However, you need to meet the minimum admission requirements for the college/university that you plan to attend. This may include college-level competency in Math and Writing. Even though completing an Associate Degree before transferring is not an admissions requirement to the university, it may benefit you to do so. To figure out what the best plan is for you, come in and meet with an academic advisor or counselor.
