How do repeated courses apply to my GPA?
Updated October 14, 2022
When you repeat a course, only the most recent grade earned for a course will be calculated into your GPA and total credit hours earned; all other grades earned for that course will be excluded from the GPA and the credit hours earned. If you repeat a class and earn a lower grade in the most recent attempt, the lower grade will be calculated into your GPA.
Note: all grades will continue to appear on your transcript. The repeat policy affects only the GPA and credits earned.? For more information, please read the Repeat Policy.
If you have specific questions about your grades or have questions about which courses to take, contact an Academic advisor.
