What happens if I don’t complete mandatory Financial Literacy Education on time?
Updated October 24, 2022
It is extremely important that you complete mandatory Financial Literacy Education by the end of the term it was assigned. If you don’t complete the required course work by the deadline, a hold will be placed on your loan funds. Other financial aid, like grants, will be disbursed as usual.?If your loans are held, you may be deleted from your courses for the upcoming term or blocked from registering for courses.
The hold is cleared after you pass the Student’s Guide to Money course or attend a mandatory Financial Literacy Counseling session.
