What happens if I don’t pass mandatory Financial Literacy Education?

Updated October 24, 2022

If you are required to take mandatory Financial Literacy Education you must pass the final exam with a score of at least 70%. There are currently 40 questions on the final exam, which means you must answer at least 28 questions correctly. The test can only be submitted one time.

If you don’t pass the final exam you will need to attend a mandatory Financial Literacy Counseling session to satisfy the Mandatory Financial Literacy requirement. Please note: You may have additional steps to complete before your financial aid will be reinstated.

You can check your Financial Aid Dashboard to see if there are additional steps you need to complete. To access the Financial Aid Dashboard:

  1. Log into MyPCC.
  2. Click the ‘Paying for College‘ tab.
  3. Outstanding requirements will display as red flags in the Clipboard icon in the Financial Aid Dashboard.
