I was attending another school, but now I want to go to PCC. Can I get my financial aid at PCC?

Yes, but you will need to complete the following steps:

  1. Contact your previous school and cancel your financial aid.
  2. Log in to your FAFSA at www.fafsa.gov.
  3. Update your FAFSA and add Portland Community College’s school code: 003213
  4. Make sure you submit your FAFSA.

After you update your FAFSA, PCC will load the data into our system. This process may take 2-4 weeks. During this time, you should check your MyPCC email and your MyPCC Financial Aid Dashboard for updates. The Financial Aid Dashboard will let you know if there are any additional steps you need to complete. You can access the Financial Aid Dashboard in the Paying for College?tab of MyPCC. We strongly recommend that you check your Financial Aid Dashboard often. New alerts and instructions can appear at any time.
