Where do I go for help with choosing a major or career?

Assistance with choosing a major or career is available through?many different?options.

  1. Contact the Counseling Department at your campus to schedule an appointment with a Career Counselor who can assist you.
  2. Visit Career Services at your campus to access a variety of excellent resources, including free career assessments that can help you clarify careers or majors that you may want to consider.
  3. Login to Oregon CIS from the My Courses tab in?MyPCC. Oregon Career Information System will help you map your career and academic plan. You can explore interests and skills, research occupations, and learn about educational opportunities.
  4. Enroll in a CG 140: Career & Life Planning class, which will provide tools to make informed career decisions. The class activities include determining your work interests, skills, values, and personality traits. Students learn how to locate occupational information, make decisions, and set goals.
