I submitted my FAFSA months ago and I haven’t heard anything back. Do I need to do anything?

Yes, you need to regularly check your MyPCC email and the Financial Aid Dashboard for updates. To check your status on the financial aid dashboard:

  1. Go to the MyPCC, click the Paying for College tab.
  2. View your Financial Aid Dashboard
  3. Select the FAFSA tab to confirm if PCC has received your FAFSA
  4. Select the Clipboard tab to view your requirements for Financial Aid

Applying for financial aid can take several weeks. Once PCC has your FAFSA, the Financial Aid Office will send an email to your MyPCC account and post red flags on your Financial Aid Dashboard for anything you need to do in order to complete your application. ?Your financial aid is not complete until all requirements have been submitted, and your Award Letter has been signed.
