Will I get as much as I ask for on my AmeriCorps request?

You will not always receive all that you request. There are a number of reasons why this may be the case. You may have already used more of your service award than you have requested. If you are already receiving student aid, your AmeriCorps funds combined with your aid may not exceed a predetermined budget limit based on tuition, fees, books, supplies, transportation and miscellaneous expenses.
