Who was PCC’s founding president?

Amo DeBernardis was PCC’s founding president. He served as president from 1961 to 1978. He worked in the education field for 47 years, as a board member of Portland Public Schools, assistant superintendent for building and budget of the Portland Public School district and then superintendent of adult and vocational education before becoming the founding president of PCC.
