Why do I have to do mandatory Financial Literacy Education?
Updated October 24, 2022
Students are selected for mandatory Financial Literacy Education because their financial aid has been suspended and they have taken out student loans. Both of these are indicators that a student might find themselves unable to repay their student loans. At PCC we want to make sure our students have the information and resources they will need to be successful while in school and beyond. That includes being able to pay back their student loans.
Students who have been selected for mandatory Financial Literacy Education must pass the final exam with a score of 70% or higher. There are currently 40 questions on the final exam, which means a student must answer at least 28 questions correctly. The test can be submitted one time only.
