Rock Creek ADA Intersection Improvement Project
Three Rock Creek Campus intersections are being modified for universal access and accessibility for our community (see phases 1, 2, and 3). Construction efforts began on October 8, 2024, and will be completed in three distinct phases by the end of January 2025. Improvements will impact pedestrians, cyclists, bus riders and drivers, vehicular traffic, and deliveries.
Changes to expect
- As of December 2024, traffic is open and most of the road work is complete, with minor work to continue through the end of the year
- Several parking stalls along PCC Drive are unavailable for the remainder of the project
- Additional traffic and waiting times to enter the campus
- Construction activities will possibly include odors, dust, loud noises, and vibrations
- No parking on the roadway during construction
- Buses will continue on route – however, they may be delayed during construction
- Work will occur Monday – Friday, from 7am-4pm
- The PCC shuttle will continue on route, but may be delayed during construction
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to enhance the safety and accessibility of our campus. Your patience and support is greatly appreciated.
