Course Description

Introduces advanced techniques of creating vector graphics for professional output. Prerequisites: GD 114, GD 150. Prerequisites/concurrent: GD 140.

A grade of a "B" or higher is required for placement into the second year of the program.

Intended Outcomes for the course

Upon completion of the course students should be able to:

  • Determine appropriate illustration techniques for use in professional communication materials.

  • Create scalable, non-degrading vector images for multiple client applications.

  • Render vector art for professional use.
