Course Description

Supports the development of skills for successful field experience placements. Covers working under supervision, teamwork, stress, professional boundaries and related professional issues. Prerequisites: WR 115, RD 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement test scores. Corequisites: HUS 250.

Intended Outcomes for the course

Upon completion of the course students should be able to:

  • Use knowledge and skills to reflect on and discuss professional practices in the human service field.

  • Individual and large group presentations on related human service based topics.
  • Papers and essays.
