Course Description

Covers the content of the OSHA 30-hour General Industry Outreach Training course as a comprehensive safety program. Provides complete information on OSHA compliance issues.

Addendum to Course Description

Students who successfully complete the OSHA 30 hour course and meet the OSHA attendance requirement will be issued a Federal OSHA 30 hour certificate of completion.

Intended Outcomes for the course

Upon completion of the course students should be able to:

  1. Identify major hazards in a general industry setting.
  2. Describe types of hazards in a general industry setting.
  3. Identify how to protect oneself from major hazards in a general industry setting.
  4. Evaluate employer requirements that protect workers from general industry hazards against OSHA standards.
