Course Description
Focuses on the study of gestures, mime, and pantomime that accompany non-manual communication. Examines facial expressions, body movements, and handshapes that communicate meaning in ASL.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon completion of the course students should be able to:

Use gestures, body language, facial expression, and space to improve visual communication.

Visually describe various sizes and shapes, surroundings and appearance of objects.

Exhibit varying degrees of emotions and different forms of non-verbal communications.

Use visual communication techniques to convey short stories, ASL Visual Vernacular and ASL Personification.
