Course Description

Uses Critical Theory as a framework for inclusion, equity, and empowerment to specific course/program design. Provides the opportunity for faculty to redesign curriculum and teaching/learning activities using Critical Theory and to work collaboratively with colleagues across disciples to apply Critical Theory for ongoing improvement of instruction.

Intended Outcomes for the course

After taking this course students will be able to:
•    Apply critical theory as a framework for inclusion, equity, and empowerment to specific course/program design 
•    Redesign curriculum and teaching/learning activities using critical theory
•    Work collaboratively with colleagues across disciples to apply critical theory for ongoing improvement of instruction
