Course Description
Intended Outcomes for the course
Apply knowledge or an understanding of:
A. Patient Care, Radiation Safety and Medical Ethics in CT B. IV, oral and cavity contrast media use
C. Emergency Procedures, Pharmacology and Drug Administration
E. Anatomy and Imaging of all body systems
F. Special imaging techniques in CT
in order to competently and safely perform advanced imaging procedures with a CT scanner.
Course Activities and Design
The student will learn CT parameter advantages/disadvantages, imaging techniques for various body systems and contrast agent use to prepare them to function as a CT Technologist.
