Course Description

Introduces a community-based learning project. Covers working in small groups to plan, create and present an oral health based project to meet the oral health needs of a chosen demographic.

Intended Outcomes for the course

Upon successful completion of the course students should be able to:

  1. Research and identify the needs of a community to establish an oral health topic for a target audience.

  3. Demonstrate collaborative teamwork with fellow classmates while developing and presenting the community-based learning project.
