Course Description
Covers basic principles of oral anatomy plus study of tooth form and function. Introduces dental numbering systems and charting and some conditions manifested in the mouth (oral pathology).
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon completion of the course students should be able to:
- Utilize knowledge of basic oral anatomy and physiology to assist in the assessment of a patient's oral health prior to dental treatment procedures.
