Course Content (Themes, Concepts, Issues and Skills)
- Civil, industrial, manufacturing, mechanical and other engineering students must be able to visualize solid objects to succeed in subsequent mechanics and design courses.
- Engineers need to be able to communicate with each other, and with manufacturing and construction personnel, using graphical representations of physical objects.
- Solid modeling software is widely used in the engineering professions.
- Many engineering graduates enter the workplace by performing computerized graphics manipulations.
Content
