Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon completion of the course students should be able to:
- Apply basic knowledge to operate CAD/CAM systems in the dental laboratory setting.
- Compare and contrast a variety of dental implant systems currently utilized in the dental field.
- Explain procedural techniques for design and fabrication of dental implant restorations.
- Utilize knowledge of the role of the dental lab technician as it relates to the overall oral health care delivery system.
- Incorporate new products and techniques that emerge in the field of dental laboratory technology.
