Course Description
Addendum to Course Description
Participating students are expected to attend seminar as scheduled and on time, actively participate in all aspects of the seminar, and complete all required assignments for seminar.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon successful completion students should be able to:1. Collect and represent documentation of advanced standard achievement as specified in the NAEYC Standards for Initial Professional Preparation.2. Use the knowledge, skills, and abilities acquired in pre- and co-requisite coursework to discuss working with children in the field.
Outcome Assessment Strategies
Students Will:
· Actively participate in seminar discussions and activities.

· Complete a reflective, progress journal.
· Examine developmental learning theories and describe how these theories explain the way children learn.
· Relate learning theories to the role of play in the development of infants, toddlers, and pre-school children.
· 欧洲杯决赛竞猜app_欧洲杯足球网-投注|官网 a system for gathering and organizing data, over time, for individuals and groups of children and develop plans for presenting that information to parents.
· Using child development knowledge and observation/assessment techniques, create developmentally appropriate plans for the group of children with whom they are working.
