Course Description

Introduces the philosophy and practice of home visiting. Examines the strategies and issues of home visiting in a variety of contexts. Audit available.

Intended Outcomes for the course

Upon completion of the course students will be able to:

  • Identify best practices and effective strategies of home visiting.
  • Apply an understanding of cultural competence to one's home visiting practice.
