Course Description
Addendum to Course Description
Knowledge of blueprint reading is necessary in industry whenever descriptions of size, shape, and arrangement are used to produce a machined part.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon completion of the course students will be able to:
- Apply an entry-level understanding of the different views, and part detail information that are contained within a blueprint.
- Identify standard-drawing title block notes and drawing formats used in industry.
- Communicate about practice coursework through discussion with other students and their instructors.
Course Activities and Design
MCH 105 is presented through textbook study with end of chapter review questions. A final test for the course is completed after the end of chapter reviews are completed.
Outcome Assessment Strategies
Students will complete a written final exam at the end of the course to complete the course.
