Course Description
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon completion of the course students should be able to:

Recognize and apply appropriate basic first aid in cases of sudden illness and emergency situations in the home, work, or community environment for infant, child, or adult patient.

Apply CPR/AED skills for adult, child and infant patients as a team member of healthcare providers or in home/community settings.
-
Be prepared to apply for (1) CPR/AED for healthcare providers, (2) first aid, and (3) bloodborne pathogens cards from American Red Cross.
