Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon completion of the course students should be able to:
- Identify various anger styles and how these styles affect positive interactions with others in the workplace.

Describe what elicits angry responses and explain ways to diffuse them.

Select appropriate anger management strategies when confronting an angry person at work.
Outcome Assessment Strategies
- Describe a situation in which one or more parties demonstrate angry behavior and explain the steps for diffusing the situation.
- Demonstrate "modeling" behavior techniques for reinforcing appropriate expressions of anger.
- Identify appropriate and inappropriate expressions of anger and describe how to handle each.
