Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon successful completion students should be able to:
- Use a beginning understanding of musicianship and performance etiquette to perform basic-level repertoryto a public audience as a member of a small vocal ensemble.
- Use a beginning understanding of basic-level music literacy to prepare and rehearse basic repertory as amember of a small vocal ensemble.
- Use a beginning understanding of rehearsal techniques and etiquette to follow a conductor,annotate music, and be a contributing member of a small vocal ensemble during rehearsal.

The following skills are expected to br achieved to successfully meet the minimum requirement ("C" or "Pass" ) of the course
- Attend rehearsals and learn individual parts
- Follow musical ideas as instructed by choir director
- Learn , prepare and perform vocal music from printed notation
- Accurately notate and execute musical ideas as instructed by choir director
- Hold harmony in conjunction with other vocal parts
- Accurately learn foreign language lyrics to choral works.
