Course Description

Continues development in the fusion of ballet, Pilates, yoga and Barre to enhance health and wellness in muscular endurance, flexibility, cardiorespiratory, and body composition components of physical fitness. Audit available.

Intended Outcomes for the course

Upon completion of the course students should be able to:

  1. Demonstrate intermediate and/or advanced movements of Barre, ballet, Pilates, and/or yoga.
  2. Continue to improve balance, coordination, core strength, and body awareness through participation in Barre Fitness.
  3. Design a detailed personal workout that reflects an understanding of principles, movements, exercise groupings, sets, and repetitions in Barre Fitness.
