Course Description

Become more in touch with the body and senses as used to express yourself and communicate with others. Includes exercise, theatre games and impromptu scenes to tap the creative potential of the human imagination. Audit available.

Intended Outcomes for the course

  • creatively develop and perform improvisations
  •   demonstrate understanding of rules and framework of improvisations
  •   perform numerous improvisational formats that may include Theatre Sports and/or Harolds
  •   perform a scene from a play using improvisation as the basis

1. Analysis of script in preparation for a role
