Course Description
Introduces basic hand and machine sewing techniques. Offers an opportunity for using costume-related skills in creating, building, altering, or maintaining costumes for the stage. Provides hands-on opportunities to develop skills and use professional tools to explore and refine costume construction skills. Audit available.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon completion of the course students will be able to:
- Demonstrate basic hand and machine sewing techniques.

Student will be assessed on consistent attendance, participation, effort, and completion of projects assigned.

Content is varies and is based upon the current theatre production, costume to be constructed, and student's skills and interests.
