Course Description

Covers intermediate-level skills in CAD for Civil and Construction documentation. Focuses on industry CAD standards to produce efficiency in project creation. Prerequisites: CCET 140 or (CADD 126 and CCET 110) or (ENGR 102 and CCET 110). Prerequisites/concurrent: MTH 112 or any MTH course for which MTH 112 is a prerequisite. Audit available.

Intended Outcomes for the course

Upon completion of the course students should be able to:

  1. Use industry CAD standards to recreate project, permit and as-built drawings
  2. Create and store objects for use in other plan drawings.
  3. Annotate plan drawings.
  4. Set layouts and print.
