Course Description

Continues to build upon the foundational knowledge acquired in Dental Materials I. Covers additional dental materials used in the provision of dental hygiene clinical restorative procedures. Corequisites: DH 233L.

Intended Outcomes for the course

Upon successful completion of the course students should be able to:

  1. Discuss principles of achieving and maintaining optimal conditions for placement of dental materials within the working field.
  2. Differentiate between technologies used in conjunction with dental materials and their indications for use.
  3. Describe indications and contraindications for a variety of restorative materials.
