Course Description
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon completion of the course the student should be able to:
- Disassemble, assemble, and adjust various powertrain components using appropriate service literature and following designated procedures.
- Identify and explain the powertrain components and theory of operation of Caterpilllar final drives, undercarriages, brakes, ground engaging, and differential systems.
Course Activities and Design
This is an outcome-based course utilizing a lecture / lab format. This course includes videos, assignments, demonstrations, lectures, and hands on learning. Course will be taught using Caterpillar equipment and curriculum.
