Course Description
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon completion of this course students should be able to:
- Communicate effectively with clients and professionals, both visually and verbally, utilizing diagrams, drawings, presentation materials, client interviews, and presentations.

- Create accurate architectural drawings including as-built drawings and remodel plans, elevations, and perspectives.
- 欧洲杯决赛竞猜app_欧洲杯足球网-投注|官网 design solutions that demonstrate an understanding of space planning concepts and universal design where applicable.
Course Activities and Design
This course will be presented by means of lecture, discussion, demonstrations, and student fieldwork. The student’s grade will be determined by demonstrated competency in project completion, teammate evaluations, and participation in all class activities.
Outcome Assessment Strategies
- Complete a design project that demonstrates the ability to create:
- a full set of design schematics in response to the needs of a real client including architecturally accurate drawings, and professional presentation boards of materials and surfaces; and
- a notebook summary of all materials to be presented to the client and faculty.
2. Demonstrate communication skills by conducting a client interview, creating a design solution in response to client needs, and presenting the design solution for feedback from the client during midterm and end-of-term design reviews.
3. Demonstrate teamwork skills by participating on a design team, and being evaluated by classmates and faculty on ability to work effectively in groups.
4. Demonstrate the ability to utilize effective time management and organizational strategies to bring project to completion and meet goals.

- Expand experiences on developing creative, well designed interior design solutions
- Communicate visually and verbally in informal and formal presentations before clients, faculty, and outside design reviewers
