Course Description
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon completion of the course students should be able to:
- Read and recognize some words, phrases and simple sentences that are written in Japanese.
- Write words, phrases and simple sentences about a limited number of familiar topics.
- Speak about a limited number of familiar topics using practiced or memorized words and phrases.
- Listen and recognize familiar and memorized words in spoken Japanese.
- Recognize some Japanese cultural products and practices related to everyday life.
