Have the signs of Spring got you looking to get outside?

Would you like to help your community in a few short hours? Don’t mind getting a little dirty? If so, join Friends of Trees as we plant nearly 200 street and yard trees in the NE Portland neighborhoods of Beaumont-Wilshire, Cully, and Roseway!

When: Saturday, April 1st, 9am-12pm (Please arrive around 8:40am to be assigned a planting crew and enjoy some free breakfast snacks and hot coffee/tea) The event will start promptly at 9:00am and finish up around 1pm with a delicious potluck lunch provided for all of our volunteers!

Where: Morning Star Mbc, 4927 NE 55th Ave, Portland, OR 97218 –look for Friends of Trees signs as you get close

Groups of Planters Welcome! We love a planting posse! We ask that any group of 5 or more simply pre-register via our Group Registration Form.

We provide gloves, tools and guidance–no tree care experience needed! Be sure to come dressed for the weather wearing sturdy closed-toe shoes, waterproof layers (rain pants, rain jacket) you don’t mind getting dirty, a hat, and get ready to have fun!
