PCC Cascade ASPCC and Phi Theta Kappa: Thanksgiving Basket Donations
Posted by hannah.cherry
The holidays are fast approaching and with that comes hungry student families in need of a warm meal.
Each year Cascade ASPCC and Phi Theta Kappa give Thanksgiving Baskets to over 50 student families.? The Thanksgiving Program is an annual tradition that students and staff at Cascade look forward to each year.? Our goal is to raise $1,750.00, which will allow us to provide a Thanksgiving meal to 50 student families in need for the Thanksgiving holiday and help make it a happy, stress-free time.
Like last year, we are requesting donations of cash. Donations of cash are much more cost effective than collecting individual food items and we can accommodate everyone’s dietary needs.? With the help of your department, we are sure to continue the tradition of generosity and community which defines PCC Cascade.
Our Phi Theta Kappa president, has provided letters and donation envelopes to each building on campus.? You may also donate at the Student Union Info Booth (1st Floor) anytime.? Receipts are available for tax purposes.? Donation locations are as follow:
- Student Union First Floor – Debra Porta/Heidi Dombek
- Student Services Building Room 209 – Anita Morris
- Gym Room 100 – Dale Peterka
- Cascade Hall Room 208 – Denyse Peterson
- Moriarty Arts Building Room 105 – Reba Stephney
- Terrell Hall Room 123 – Amanda Harrison
- Jackson Hall Room 210C – Janet DiGrazia
