Posted by hannah.cherry
Winter Sock Drive to benefit those experiencing homelessness!
Socks are highly valued on the streets and can really make a difference in meeting an immediate need. You can help keep somebody warm by donating preferably NEW:
- socks
- hats
- gloves
- scarves
- coats
- Cash donations are also accepted!
All donations can be brought/intercampus mailed to:
- Career Pathways: SE Campus Mt. Tabor 106 or
- Multimedia: CA Campus MAHB 218
- All PCC QRC locations
- or you can call?971-722-6201?to request a pick up of the items or cash donation.
Oregon is?#1?in the Nation for homeless counts and, as the weather is getting colder, the need for these items is crucial to meeting some of the basic needs for the alarmingly growing number of youth, individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness.
*Additionally, if you know of any students who?could benefit from receiving these items, please send Windy an email and, as socks?and other warm items come in, she can campus mail them to you.

About the Volunteer Opportunities Newsletter
The?Volunteer Opportunities Newsletter allows students, faculty, and staff at PCC a more comprehensive look at volunteer needs and opportunities from our community partners.
