Friends of Trees: Seeking interested volunteers in the Portland/Vancouver area to join our tree calling team!
Posted by hannah.cherry
Interested in keeping Portland green but only available during the week? Love talking to people about trees?
Then the Friends of Trees Tree Caller role could be for you!
Volunteer Tree Callers help Friends of Trees connect with residents who simply need a little help choosing the perfect tree for their space. This role excels with volunteers who are not shy of phones and can confidently navigate our online ordering system (training included).
This role is held at our office at 3117 NE MLK Blvd in Portland on Wednesday evenings. Monthly commitment for Tree Callers can be anywhere from 2-8 hours.
**The next Tree Caller training will be held on Wed, Aug 24th at 5:30pm at our office in NE Portland.** If you can’t make this training, no worries! We can accommodate training on any Wednesday evening that we have our Tree Callers.
