Friends of Trees: Join Friends of Trees to Plant Native Trees and Plants in Beaverton (Hall Creek)!

Join Friends of Trees to help revitalize Hall Creek in the heart of Beaverton.
These plantings are part of a broader creek restoration project being completed by the City to improve water quality and beautify the area. We’ll be planting large stock 8-12′ trees, and smaller native trees and shrubs as well.
Event Date: Saturday, 1/9/16
Time: 9am-1pm (please arrive early to register)
Location: 3771 SW 114th Ave, Beaverton, OR 97005
Please arrive around 8:45am to be registered and assigned to a crew. The event will start promptly at 9:00am. We provide breakfast snacks and hot chocolate/coffee, as well as gloves, tools and guidance. Please come dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes and get ready to have fun!
Looking to volunteer as a group? RSVPs are kindly requested for groups of more than 5 people. RSVPs are not required for individuals or groups of 4 or fewer — you can simply show up!

Friends of Trees is a 501(c)3 nonprofit whose mission is to bring people together to plant and care for city trees and green spaces in Pacific Northwest communities.
Friends of Trees’ Green Space program guides volunteers at watershed restoration projects throughout the Portland-Vancouver, Salem, Eugene-Springfield, and Sandy River Delta areas.
