Demonstrate basic knowledge of refrigeration as it applies to air conditioning for habitable spaces including air flow in duct systems and psychometrics. |
Install residential heating equipment including natural gas furnaces, both 80% and 90% plus efficiencies, oil furnaces, and electric furnaces. |
Safely install residential and light commercial HVAC equipment including; demolition, locating and setting the equipment, use sheet metal tools, install galvanized sheet metal duct systems, flexible duct systems, ACR line sets, vent of fossil fuel furnaces, start up new equipment, install gas piping, practice acceptable customer service skills, and practice safety in the workplace. |
