Our Team and Partnerships
Meet our Team!
Carrie Cantrell – Podcast Lead Producer
Carrie Cantrell moved to Portland in 2016, following a rich career in food & travel and a country upbringing in the southeastern United States. The first years in the Pacific Northwest, Carrie learned the value of accessible community media and public service by volunteering at local community broadcast stations and organizing through the North West Intersex Action League. As an AAOT student at PCC, Carrie helped start Let’s Talk! in 2021 and hopes to see the project continue to grow as part of a thriving and healthy public media platform by and for PCC students.
Asher – Audio Tech
Asher has a big passion for creating entertaining and informative content. She was raised in the Southern side of the states and furthered her studies overseas in Asia before returning and being a part of PCC’s Community as a student, and finally Audio Tech of “Let’s Talk! Podcast Collective”. Over the years, she’s acted, written short films, and produced a number of documentary films in hopes of building her skills to one day produce content that will impact the next generation for the better, one film at a time.
Cherranne Verduin – Podcast Tech
My name is Cherranne Verduin; on the air, I go by Anne Verduin. I am a Podcast Tech for the Let’s Talk! Podcast Collective. That’s my official title, and I do hope to one day help record podcasts, specifically about technology. I love tech, especially if it makes life easier for a blind person, which I am. I have been totally blind all my life. For now, I seem to have found a niche in taking the lead on writing web articles for podcasts that have already been recorded. I have lived in Portland for twenty years, and worked for PCC in some capacity since August of 2023.
Miguel Viveros Chavez – Podcast Tech
Hello listeners, my name is Miguel Viveros Chavez. One of the Let’s Talk! podcast techs here at Portland Community College. I wanted to introduce myself. I am a senior at Eastern Oregon University where I am finishing up my bachelor’s degree in Business administration. In my free time I love to be out on the water. My hobbies include hiking, swimming, dragon boat racing, and I love trying out new foods. I host a variety of podcasts episodes that will include some tech time episodes and lots more. Thank you for joining us. Can not wait to share more with you all! I am also one of the hosts on our monthly live radio show. Please reach out to us, I would love to help answer all questions and commentaries about accessible tech.
