Grounds
The District Grounds Department’s mission is to provide a safe and pleasant outdoor environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors through the maintenance of the campus grounds. To serve the community by enhancing campus grounds while protecting and preserving the natural environment. The 15-member team maintains over 400 acres of grounds landscape and exterior learning environment. Services provided include snow removal, lawn care, irrigation installation and maintenance, horticultural practices, Integrated Pest Management, stormwater maintenance, new and improved water usage practices, campus forestry operations, sports turf care, equipment maintenance, and landscape design and construction.
PCC is a designated Bee Campus (4th in the country) and designated Tree Campus USA.
